Drunk in Love...

Hands down without a doubt Beyonce is one hot woman.  Her song lyrics to Drunk in Love are titillating, exciting and naughty. When I was designing this arrangement the song literally kept playing in my head over and over. This design evokes strong color emotion, movement, texture and certainly juiciness from the oranges and watermelon which you could definitely say about Beyonce' and her songs.
Why can't I keep my fingers off it, baby?
I want you, na na
Can't keep your eyes off my fatty
Last thing I remember is our beautiful bodies grinding up in the club
 I've been drinking watermelon
Know I sling Clint Eastwood, hope you can handle this curve
Baby no I don't play, now eat the cake, Anna Mae
"How the hell did this shit happen?"

Pantone Dewberry

I have been seriously crushing on these juicy berry colors for some time now. As a side note, I picked up some Pantone paint swatch cards and just fell in love with this Dewberry color. I thought it complimented my design oh so perfect. I was really excited to come across Wild Bergamot, Red Clover, and fresh Spearmint while foraging at a nearby park. These Alexander Fleming Peonies are my most favorite of the big fatty blooming flowers of summer. Blush peonies are an all time fav along with fuzzy succulent leaves added for interest. I added touches of partially dehydrated blueberry sprigs because I really like the varied colors of bright blue to aqua to purple to fuchsia; the berries turn as they shrivel up. I created the design in this vintage white milk glass pedestal bowl which adds a bit of shabby chicness. I think its perfect for this wild berry flora.
