Twine of the Times

I absolutely love baker's twine. It comes in many colors like red, blue, brown, and green to mention a few. It's so versatile from wrapping packages, to adding it to goodies, or even bundling special items.

Branching Out....

Now that all the leaves have fallen from the trees we can all appreciate the beautiful silhouettes of the branches. They twist and turn, bud and curve. They are not spooky to me but more like wind chimes in the wind. I wanted to bring some of that song into my home so I cut four different varieties and tagged them so my children or guests would know what species they are.

Lucky Numbers

It's interesting so find random numbers in the most interesting places. I recently reupholstered my dining room chairs and underneath the seat was a stamped number. I thought to myself..... wonder if that's a sign. I pondered going to the mini mart and playing that number for the daily lottery. Ever since I've been noticing numbers in the most unique places.
This is August Smith my great grandfather's frame, low and behold on the back there's a lucky number.

I wish I may, I wish I might

Trends in weddings are forever changing. I love this new version of an "old" trend "wishes for the bride and groom." I wonderfully styled apothecary jar stands empty for all the guest to write their heart-felt wishes on beautiful paper for the bride and groom to keep and a memento from their wedding. I just loved doing this for my sister Nicole on Oct 17th.
